Ok, I've been playing games for most of my life as a filler for something to do while I'm bored and so I'm very familiar with rage in video games. I've recently got into playing World of Warcraft after my brother in law nagged me into playing it. After getting a character all the way leveled up people started bitching at me. They would say that I need to "do more damage" or "you need better gear" and constantly I'm getting told what to do. I've played literally dozens of games where people try to tell me what to do but I usually ignore them and my scores will reflect that what I choose to do works for me. However in WoW it just seems that people are very fucking persistent and are resolute in their never ending quest to annoy the fuck out of me. Not 5 minutes ago I was told by someone who was a lower level than myself that I "need better gear" and I lost it, I threw everything I had at him and I am now banned for 72 hours(a vacation). Everywhere in online games now-a-days it just seems like everyone doesn't have a choice anymore and everyone is doing something the wrong way and if they don't conform they get bitched at or called a 'noob', where the hell have games gone? It has gotten mixed in between 10 year old child humor and college frat boy douchebagness. Is it really that hard to have some god damn patience or some fucking human courtesy? Fucking come on people its a game I know that because you hide behind you computer screens your really fucking tough but just act like the person your poorly attempting to insult is gonna punch you in the face...still wanna call that person a noob? No? Didn't think so....
P.S. Feeling much better now thanks for listening
