Yeah we copped it pretty hard yesterday but we didn't cop it as bad as the city did on Saturday.
Yeah we copped it pretty hard yesterday but we didn't cop it as bad as the city did on Saturday.
Yeah that was awesome. My friend was working in melbourne central on saturday. She said Myer had water flowing down the escalators and dripping out of the lights. People were freaking out.
well seriously 20 cents, thats like mocking the robber! id have taxed his balls to ahahaha
Its now official. Melbourne is the 'murder capital' of Australia. We nearly didn't beat our previous high but with a late flurry we just crept in with a 'blow them out of the water' score of 182 homicides for the year. Go you good thing!
Our recent police commisioner was booted out of her job, because the police union secretary thought she was making too many demands on the brotherhood, and we know who has the power under this unionised government. The former minister for Police was replaced, not sacked, for being caught speeding. Tim Holding that throw back to the nineties still wears gel in his hair. What a tosser!
Our police commisioner Simple Simon Overlander, walked onto a plane at Tullarmarine carrying a gun and bullets. Instead of being reprimanded, he influenced the sacking of the security guard who let him on the plane.
Simple Simon claimed he needed to carry a gun for security reasons. When questioned further he said " Because I am Victorias top cop, and Melbourne is a dangerous city for any cop"
I think you need to get your facts straight, mate. The decision of whether or not he will get reprimanded hasn't even been made yet as the incident is under investigation. And the screening officer wasn't fired; he was (rightly) suspended until he undergoes retraining.
First I'm not your mate, never will be never want to be.
Second your speaking through your arse.
Its the same deal.
Now now, there's no need for aggression - don't go all Melbourne on us.
With any luck things may improve for you Melbournians later in the year if you vote out that donkey labor government you got....
Libs are on the way back with a huge swing against labor in both SA and Tassi over the weekend...
BTW...How to vote cards are illegal here in Tassi....Means no fuckhead shoving how to vote labor, Libs or whatever in your face when you turn up at the polling booth....
Also was no paper list to search through to get your name ticked off the list...All done on a laptop down here...
Was much quicker and very refreshing to not have papers shoved in your face...
BTW2....Was in Melbourne Wednesday for about 6 hours...Made it out alive and unstabbed![]()

Results in the South Australian and Tasmanian elections are an indication of what to expect in Victoria in November, a Victorian government minister says.
Although final results have yet to be determined, strong swings were seen against Labor in both states, with Labor likely to be defeated in Tasmania after 12 years in power.
In South Australia, premier Mike Rann on Saturday said the result was still too close to call.
Tasmanians are likely to have a three-way split among Liberal, Labor and Green members in the 25-member assembly. But the final breakdown has not been confirmed, with the Liberals expected to take at least three more seats.
Victorian Sports Minister James Merlino said the provisional results in both states mirrored what the government anticipated would emerge in the November 24 state election.
He said in both elections there had been "clear local issues" for voters to consider.
"I think the election results in South Australia and Tasmania have shown us exactly what we expect to see later in the year," Mr Merlino said on Sunday.
"Our expectation here in Victoria is that the election will be tight and tough.
"We have got a very proud record in government but we take nothing for granted, and we will be working every day in the lead-up to the poll."
Victorian opposition leader Ted Baillieu said Labor could not ignore the results of the weekend elections.
"We have seen a strong swing against Labor and this is what happens when governments stop listening, rely on spin and lose trust," he said.
"After more than a decade, we need change because nothing will get better under (premier) John Brumby."
The premier was unavailable for comment on Sunday.
