Instead of making a new thread, I'm just going to use this one to bitch because it has my name on it...

I love going to shows. I love seeing bands, and I have seen all kinds. I have always dated someone who has the same taste in music as me so we can go and see bands that we like together. The guy I'm with now (whom I love, don't get me wrong), doesn't like going. When we first got together, I bought floor tickets to Avenged Sevenfold and we made it all the way to the guard rail, and right before they went on we had to get out because he almost passed out. In December, I bought floor tickets to Metallica and he almost skipped out because he didn't want to deal with getting squished. He actually did skip out at the VERY last second a few months ago to a Lamb of God show and I had to find someone else to go with.

Tomorrow, I want to go to the Mayhem Festival, which is an all day outdoor show with Manson, Slayer, Killswitch and Trivium. I'm not going to give the list of excuses he gave, but needless to say I'm not going. It just pisses me off that the person I'm with doesn't like doing the same shit I like to do. I guess I'm just used to going with "my guy".
