I'm sure you have all said you would actually kill someone, but would you? For real? Would you take the life that was given to them by another? Make sure that they will never see anyone they ever loved ever again? Would you shoot them, from a distance? Would you get up close? Look them in the eyes, or look away. Would you close their eyelids, make them look peaceful? Or would you just leave them there to rot? Tell someone? Tell who? Would you forget one day, or would those eyes haunt you for the rest of your life?
It's so easy, yet so difficult to do.

To answer the OP´s question, I´d only kill a man in self-defense, or if it would help me accomplish a goal. I wouldn´t go out and murder a guy for the sake of the act.
