Interesting round coming up. If the Saints are serious then they'll wanna beat Port at AAMI, and if Port are serious, they'd expect to win most of their games at AAMI, including this one you'd think.
On paper you'd expect a win to the Pies on ANZAC Day but the occasion tends to be a huge leveler and the Pies have looked pretty ordinary in patches this year and the Bombers quite exciting.
Hawthorn are coming off a very average performance and embarrassing loss at home to Port and the West Coast just won very impressively at home against one of the better teams in the comp in the Bulldogs but it's still very tough to see the Hawks losing this match, especially as it's at Launceston which has been somewhat of a fortress for them. Mark LeCras is probably good value for most goals in this game given the woeful state of Hawthorn's forward line and the fact that Buddy is always at short odds in every game he plays.
Fremantle are a genuine shower of fucking shit. Seriously, they're abject. I can't believe how bad they are. Sydney should win this game and I wouldn't be too surprised if Freo don't score. At all.
Richmond are my smokey for this round. They should (I know, I know) be stung by the humiliation of losing to Melbourne last week, and the Roos aren't too crash hot. I'm not super confident in this prediction by the way. But if it happens I'll be the first to say I told ya so.
I can't really see the Cats losing at Kardinia Park full stop this season, but I do think Brown and Bradshaw will stretch our defence, which has been a bit slipshod this season to be fair. I sense Joel Selwood's looking for a break out this week.
On current form it's hard to see the Blues getting close to the Dogs, but you never know. They can't continue being so bad with the players they've got. Sometime soon Fev's going to kick twelve straight. With that said they're going to continue to struggle to not have big scores kicked on them, especially considering the classiness of the Dogs' forward line and their ability to get goals out of their midfielders.
The last game involves Melbourne. You literally can not tip them (last week excepted I suppose).
